Details:
The duration of our trip to the islet can be short or long, depending on whether we start from Agios Efstratios (7 minutes) or Limnos (45 minutes).
The boat is moored in a safe place near the shallowest part of the reef, for secure and comfortable descent.
The seabed of the area is characterized by high turnover of depth and relief and offers a variety of substrate and habitats (reefs, seagrass, small caves, sandy areas etc.).
From the beginning of the dive look intensely small rocky vertical walls (Mini walls) which follow and deepen gradually to reach the wreck located in the area.
The time passes pleasantly at 15 meters where there is the main volume of the best-preserved parts of the wreck of the bow and stern.
The area often encounter strong currents.
Following the direction of the bow of the wreck and approaching in the left part of the reef we find another interesting small wall (Mini wall) in bold colors of sponges and strong benthic life.
The return is easy as long as we follow the morphology of the reef, as from this point it gets shallow gradually until the boat.
Finally after the safety stop at 5 meters we should abandon the stunning scenery and emerge on the surface, with the promise that we will return soon.
